Landscape Purchasing Agent
We are seeking a landscape purchasing agent to handle all aspects of landscape plant buying. The job will consist of locating, pricing, tagging, securing, and purchasing plant material for all installation jobs. The ideal candidate would have strong organizational skills, be quality focused, and have a desire to grow with the company. The job would also require the ability to set up shipping and receiving of the plants.

Interns
We are seeking interns interested in all aspects of landscape and landscape maintenance. The job will offer a variety of opportunities related to the landscape industry. We are student oriented and will assist in helping complete any class requirements as they relate to internships.

Internships will cover the following:

• Orientation – New hire paperwork to include application, medical history, driver check approval, W-4, W-9, and review of Terracon Services, Inc. Policy Manual.
• Labor – Working with installation and maintenance crews, digging holes, laying sod, staking trees and palms, mulching, mowing, trimming, fertilizing, irrigation and working with each crew.
• Foreman – Working with crew foreman, laying out plants, running equipment, New Holland, sodcutter, chainsaw, installing edging, espalier vines, stepping stones, rock walls, and timber walls.
• Project Manager – Laying out jobsites, flagging trees, laying out bed lines, transplanting, crane installations, and job evaluations.
• Purchasing Agent – Tagging in field nurseries, review of container nurseries, and riding along with tree pick-up truck.
• Administrative – Filing, payroll, estimates, contracts, billing, accounts payable/receivable, and review of financial reports.
• Sales – Sales calls, pick up plans, plan take offs, and computer estimates.
• Marketing – Company promotions
• Company Meetings – Participate in weekly meetings.
• Safety – Participate in monthly safety meetings and conduct one meeting.
• Training – Participate in weekly training meetings and conduct one session.
